TryEngineering recommends that students considering a career in engineering, engineering technology or computing select a university program than has been accredited.

TryEngineering.org only lists programs that have been accredited by a recognized accrediting body. Accreditation generally means that an external organization will review the engineering programs offered by the degree-granting institution on a periodic basis. Accreditation differs country by country, but there are efforts made by accrediting bodies through mutual recognition agreements to provide some level of consistency.
